Shaker, Mission, Queen Anne, Colonial, Windsor Chairs and Contemporary style furniture presented by the Guild of Vermont Furniture Makers - an association of master level furniture makers dedicated to the promotion of quality craftsmanship, excellence in design and the pursuit of their artistic vision. Our goal is to increase public awareness and appreciation of this art, thereby expanding the market for handcrafted furniture and promoting the common interest of furniture makers in the state of Vermont.
Guild members are professional furniture makers, most of whom work alone or with a helper or two. For the most part, these are small operations where each order receives the focused care of the master builder. This atmosphere allows for a creative and flexible partnership with the customer.
